  Escalator_01.jpg - Starboard side escalator installed in the 50's when the Pilot's Ready Rooms were placed below the armored hanger deck. Prior the rooms were under the fligt deck in O2 where they were exposed to bomb damage and Kamikazi. Escalator helped jet pilot's loaded with gear up to the flight deck.
